Operating characteristics of the RNS
In case of tripping due to a sharp fault (short-circuit or earth fault) only one test is made.
In other cases (overcurrent, overvoltage, temporary fault) three tests are made before the equipment becomes faulty.
This cycle restarts after 5 minutes without tripping.
